Kim G. vs Danielle – Red Carpet Edition

The Magnet attracted much more than celebrities last night when he brought RHONJ guest castmate, Kim Granatell aka Kim G, to Danielle Staub’s birthday party!  It was held at Noel Ashman’s Gentleman’s Club, Scores, almost two weeks after the actual date of her 48th birthday.

When they stepped onto the red carpet, arm-in-arm, everything went crazy.  Tom had told people that he would be bringing a surprise guest to the party.  Zac Efron?  Justin Bieber?  No, bigger, better, he said.  No one expected him to ask Kim, Danielle’s least favorite person, to the party!

As she arrived with Tom and two very no-joke big bodyguards (with firearms and everything), shouts of, “Oh my God, Kim’s here!” could be heard as people began to run into the club to bring others out.

Someone texted Danielle to let her know that Kim G was on the red carpet.  Staub got very angry.  She called in to Ashman, letting him know that she refused to come inside with Kim there.  Tom said that she sat in her limo for an hour, crying and screaming.

Eventually, Ashman came outside and politely asked Kim to go to a different area so Danielle could get out of her limo and walk the carpet.

After Kim left, Tom went into the club to enjoy the rest of the party.  The Magnet noticed that when Danielle finally did appear, the only thing anyone talked to her about was the appearance of Kim G.  It made her nuts!                                                                                                                  Photo: Barry Brown Studios

When people weren’t talking about Kim, they wanted to know, “What’s up with her upper lip?”  (It was a little larger than last seen). Outside, there were also rumors flying around that Danielle wouldn’t be on the next season

of RHONJ.  Which comes, appropriately, after her announcement that she’s working on a spin-off.  So, we’ll have to wait and see…

In the club, Lori Michaels came up to Tom and kissed him hello.  As usual, she was as sweet as could be.  She even remembered his name and quoted his Examiner headline: “Lori Michaels is Sweet…Danielle Staub…Not So Much.”

The Magnet also saw his friend, Eric Kelly, the Golden Gloves boxer, at the party.

Tom was able to capture video of his talk with Danielle which went…well, it was interesting to say the least.  He also filmed the performance they had prepared.  Danielle and Lori sang their single, “Real Close.”  The show was good, but crazy.  It had dancing, music, lights, acrobatics, juiceheads…it was reminiscent of a D-List Cirque du Soleil.  More videos coming soon!

After the party, Tom and his group went to Express Restaurant on 18th and Park Ave for some delicious cheeseburgers.

When he talked to Kim G after the party, she told him that she just wanted to show up and say hello.  “Mission Accomplished.”
