American Idol is probably the hottest show on television these days. From last week’s big save (Casey Abrams was saved last week by the judges) to this week’s Elton John theme, the singers brought their A-game. Our perfect smile Paul McDonald’s version of “Rocket Man” made the girls swoon, while the voluptuous Lauren Alaina’s rendition of “Candle In The Wind” had the men drooling – all 11 contestants sang their hearts out. But a common theme of the evening was the surprise turnaround for both contestants Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart. Hmmm…what’s really going on behind the AI doors? A love interest perhaps?
This week Casey truly revamped his quirky persona. From his beard over-haul, to his mesmerizing voice to the beautiful Elton John balled “Your Song”, Casey surely won over America’s hearts — but is he winning over Haley’s?
Haley sang “Bennie and the Jets” and won over Stephan Tyler who admits that her “voice is sexy”.
While it seems like an odd couple, who can resist a little love in the Idol house? Her gorgeous bod and fabulous hair, and his well…interesting style – we’ve got a match made in Idol heaven.
An insider source said “”Most of [their] downtime is spent together and they have a very touchy-feely relationship… They’re always lying on each other when they’re around the other contestants and everybody thinks they’re hooking up.”
Whether the two are hooking up or not, you must admit Idol becomes even more exciting when love is in the air. Let’s wait till next week to see the chemistry continue to grow between the two! I know I’ll be tuning in.
And remember, it Ain’t over till the fat lady sings…o wait that was Fantasia.
