After publicly announcing their split, Marc Anthony and J.Lo have already come strides f
rom what was their rocky marriage. Although both agree that the separation was “difficult” and “painful”, J.Lo has been hitting the town ever since the divorce.
Hours after J.Lo initially (yet allegedly) “dumped” Anthony, she was with her mother meeting Prince William and wife Catherine at the Bafta event. That same evening Lopez was stunning on the red carpet, next to her mother instead of her ex-husband.
After many attempts to make her third marriage last, Lopez was considering moving to New York instead of staying in Malibu for her career. These efforts were fueled by the children and keep the family together. Some close sources seemed shocked by the separation, while others weren’t surprised.
Recently after the break-up, Jenny from the block was spotted in Miami celebrating her 42nd birthday with 16 of her closest family members and friends. Since then she’s been out and about with her 3-year old twins Max and Emme.
In an interview with Vanity Fair Lopez said, “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself — if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
