The Sitch vs. A & Fitch

Categories: Celebrity

Since the hit show Jersey Show has kicked-off, companies and venders have been cashing in on endorsements through the reality stars. With the reckless raging that is the current 4th season, it’s only natural that a company wants to “dis-endorse”.

Typically no one would make the connection of  fist-pumping with A&F classic, preppy clothing; but thanks to Mike Sorrentino (aka the Situation), the clothing company is concerned that their image is being tainted with lots of bronzer.

Abercrombie and Fitch sent out a press-release yesterday, cleverly titled “A Win-Win Situation”, offering the Situation “substantial payment” to stop wearing their brand. The A&F logo is most frequently seen on Sorrentino’s underwear wasitband whenever he lifts his shirt up to show the ladies in the club, on the beach, on television across America.

The company used terms such as “deep concern” and “upset fans” to get the point across to the Situation, but how can Mike lose? A&F is willing to buy him new underwear from any other brand he wishes… maybe send him some American Eagle briefs and really stir things up.
