A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog about my DISAPPROVAL of the wedding between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries – then out of nowhere, I receive an invite to their NYC reception which took place on Wednesday.
I was accompanied by my good friend Tom Murro and “The Culinary Bad Boy” Chris Nirschel. You better believe that Nirschel and I wasted NO time getting the party started as we cut the rug to some of the hottest hits being spun by my good friend, the legendary DJ Whoo Kid!
The reception was nice. It was a pretty bunch of people, all dolled up in their suits and dresses, celebrating the plight of Kim and Kris’s marriage.
The party was a blast as Whoo Kid worked the 1s and 2s, as well as live a band which was on hand to help serenade the crowd. I got to meet a lot of new people as well as have some fun with old friends.
However, my night did turn a bit sour when I learned that “Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan was also sitting at my table. Talk about BOOJIE (that’s slang for bourgeoisie)!
From the moment we said hello, Ms. Morgan’s true colors shined through, despite that fake smile that she tried to put on. As the night went on, I could tell that her soul and/or ego was as dark as the bottom of the Hudson River. My initial impression was fortified by her words and actions throughout the evening.
Granted, I don’t truly know this lady and cant cast judgment but from what she showed me, with her snobby, uppity attitude, she really needs A: A reality check, B. Some dick, or C: Some more money. Probably, all three.
There was one point where I saw her in a verbal dispute with some guy and he was pointing his finger in her face.
Despite my dislike of Ms. Sonja Morgan, I still had fun and did my thing. Chris Nirschel and my self proceeded to make the dance floor bleed and DJ Whoo Kid couldn’t stop himself from laughing as Chris and I tried our hand at some of the funkiest dance moves. Like I said before, I don’t really approve of the Kardashian/Humphries wedding, as it seemed far too soon, but I do wish them good luck and congratulations.
God bless them!
