This past Thursday, the self proclaimed Queen of celeb gossip, Perez Hilton, hosted a concert to benefit GLSEN (Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network). The event was presented by OpenSky and titled “One Night in New York City.” There were performances by Mary J Blige, Pauly D, Boyz II Men and many others.
Our very own Celebrity Magnet, Tom Murro, was in attendance with his partners-in-party, Real Housewives Kim G and Celebrity Chef Chris Nirschel.
The trio arrived at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where the festivities were being held, and dodged the crowd lined up outside by entering through the backdoor. The three headed upstairs to the red carpet and began posing for the flashing lights. The red carpet had a couple of surprises awaiting, and by surprises I mean 1/78th of the Manzo family. Chris, Lauren, and Albie Manzo were all present at the event with family friend Greg. For the non-die hard Housewives of New Jersey fans, Kim G and the Manzo’s have some unfinished business since the battle between the Manzo’s and Granatell were shown in past episodes.
According to Murro, you could cut the tension with the dullest plastic butter knife. No words, or eye contact was exchanged between the two parties, but the undeniable whispers of the situation were fluttering through the air with Housewives fans in attendance.
Murro, Nirschel, and G headed backstage and mingled with Perez, Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Magro, Boyz II Men, and Sirius/XM Radio host DJ Whoo Kid, not a Manzo in sight. Soon after, Granatell Tweeted ”Interesting enough when their entourage is not with them all.. some people seem to remain very quiet.. I guess we can say a little scared??? ”
Murro and Granatell found both Ronnie and Perez to be incredibly nice and human…probably because Sammi or Hilton’s white drawing tool wasn’t in sight. DJ Whoo Kid was rolling in ice; covering his neck and wrist. Murro and his crew stayed for the rest of the concert and then headed home to rest up for another successful night in the city.
