Lindsay Lohan told Playboy magazine in an interview that her stubbornness in her late teens led to many of her well-documented legal problems. She now realizes that “you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable.” She says that she should have listened to her advisors.
Lohan made the comments in the January-February issue of Playboy magazine, which lands in newsstands December 16th. Excerpts of the interview were released early after pictures from the 10-page spread were leaked online. The actress has been arrested for drunken driving, drug possession and theft, as well as receiving 5 jail sentences and 5 rehab stints.
The former Disney child star (The Parent Trap) also said she doesn’t understand why the media is so interested in her life.
There are a lot of substance abuse help options available to celebrity addicts, but not many of them are not yet inclined to seek treatment.
Lohan returns to court Wednesday to update a judge on her compliance with strict new probation requirements that include working in a morgue.
Lindsay, if you want to avoid media interest, behave responsibly, fulfill your obligations, and grow up! Who wants to read about that?
