Ashton Kutcher, 33, had quite the newsreel in 2011, but he seems to be kicking off 2012 with a fresh start… or at least a fresh face.
While Ashton began his career with short hair and a clean-shaven face, we had grown to recognize him as a bit more grizzly these past few months when he sported longer hair and scruffy facial hair. But now he’s back to the clean-shaven, always young and effervescent looking Ashton as revealed at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California yesterday.
While the new look did bring about even more questioning as to whether he would be returning for another season of Two and Half Men as Walden Schmidt, he admitted the change is “related to the show, completely” and is for a storyline on the show.
He went on to speak about the change in appearance. “I’m sure there will be people now that I’ve cut my hair and shaved my beard that want me to have long hair and a beard, and there were people that when I had a beard and long hair they wanted me to be shaved and have a haircut.”
But that part of his look wasn’t the only comeback! He also was wearing his wedding band, which he had been photographed last month without, despite his wife, Demi Moore, filing for divorce in November. He definitely had the surprise factor working for him.
