New parents Beyonce and Jay-Z have had quite a few reasons to celebrate since the birth of their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, this past Saturday.
For one, the claims and investigations that Beyonce and Jay-Z’s arrival at Lenox Hill Hospital prevented and interfered with other new parents seeing their children were officially dismissed by state health officials.
And another, it seems that what we all would suspect is true: Blue Ivy Carter is already becoming a superstar. Jay-Z released a new singled titled “Glory” mere days after her birth where he sampled the sound of his daughter’s cries and newborn noises.
With her contribution of sound, he billed her on the song as “featuring B.I.C.” (baby Blue’s initials) and as a result has officially claimed the title of the youngest person to ever appear on the Billboard charts.
Recorded and released less than 48 hours after Blue Ivy was born, the song is currently number 74 on the Billboard charts. What else would we expect from the baby girl of this power couple?
