JWoww and Snooki are in the works for a spin-off season from their very popular MTV show Jersey Shore, ever heard of it? Last time we reported that Hoboken was one of their top choices, what you might not have recently learned was that Mayor Dawn Zimmer of Hoboken refused to let them film.
Zimmer wrote a letter back to MTV denying a permit to let them shoot, stating that she wanted to maintain the quality of life in her town. If MTV continued to shoot without consent, they will basically be in the hot seat. (And no, we don’t mean hot as in a tanning bed.)
According to E! Online, Jersey City will now be their “smush spot.” (As the girls would probably call it.) Mayor Jerramiah Healy feels the added exposure to his town will make people more aware of what they have to offer.
