“Jersey Shore” reality star Nicole Polizzi, more famously known as Snooki, finally confirmed the rumors. The pint-sized guidette is in fact pregnant, and engaged to Jionni LaVelle who has appeared on the MTV hit show several times.
“I didn’t want to lie to my fans, but the cardinal rule when you are pregnant is that you can’t tell anyone but your closest friends and family till after three months,” Snooki revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly.
The fist-pumping party girl found out she was pregnant the day after New Years and was concerned about her heavy drinking the evening before.
“‘S–t, I’ve been drinking!’ I was worried. It was New Year’s Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy.” she admits.
LaVelle told the magazine he proposed on Valentine’s day at the W Hotel in Hoboken, NJ. He asked her on the balcony, telling her, “I bought us a gift for Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t fit me … but it will fit you for the next 50 years” before showing her the ring.
Snooki’s ex-boyfriend, Emilio Masella, has made it pretty clear that he is not happy about the baby news. Depsite threats from Snooki’s lawyers, Masella told TMZ he hopes Snooki has a miscarriage but says he’s certain that if he had a chance “to sit down with Nicole not Snooki. I know she’d fall in love with me again.”
If we can one thing from this situation, if anything, it’s never fall in love at the Jersey Shore.
