Former L.A. Law — and Star Wars prequel — alumnus Jimmy Smits can add “anarchist” to his resume.
After recently coming off of a successful stint on Dexter, the NYPD Blue actor has signed on for season 5 of the gritty FX motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy, where Deadline reports that Smits will be on the other side of the badge in his role of Nero Padilla.
According to the PaleyFest message board, Nero will serve as a mentor to Jax (played by British actor Charlie Hunnam).
