As if we needed another reason to love Ryan Gosling! On Tuesday, a British journalist named Laurie Penny tweeted, “I LITERALLY just got saved from a cab by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened.” She explained: “I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me a way from a taxi.”
How did she know for sure it was Gosling? Well, apparently it was a woman’s comment standing next to her that made her realize it was him. She later tweeted: “Identity of no-idea-if-actually-a-manarchist-but-definitely-a-decent-sort Ryan Gosling confirmed by girl near me, who said ‘you lucky b—h,’ she wrote.
Did the woman really mean she was lucky to have contact with Gosling, and not for being nearly plowed by a taxi cab?
Regardless, you can now add hero to Ryan Gosling’s ever-growing list of virtues. He’s just saving New York City one street fight and cab plow at a time!
