The Chris Brown-Drake club brawl is second only to the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight that never was in its notoriety.
Everyone swears they were there, but to this day, no one can definitively say what happened. Some say it was the superstars brawling it out over Rihanna. Some say it was over Karreuche Tran, Chris Brown’s current lady love. Still others say it was the two stars’ bodyguards and entourages that were brawling it out, and Brown & Drake were nowhere to be found. And of course, like the typical GIRL that he is, “rapper” Meek Mill — fighting for relevance in any way his pathetic career will allow — is taking credit for starting the brawl.
(For the record, I think the Photoshopped scenario depicted above is the best representation of what happened. Say I’m lying. I wish you would.)
In any event, the speculation has led to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson — himself no stranger to “beef,” brawls, & sleeping with Rick Ross’s baby mama — putting his two cents (ha-aa…) in on the chin check heard ’round the world.
When KMEL in San Francisco (via XXL) asked him who he’d be routing for in a fight, the 37-year-old rapper-turned-mogul said he’d put his money on Brown. “I guess it’s ’cause of all the physical things with dancin’ and movin’. He be slippin’ and movin’. I don’t see Drake doing that. Chris be havin’ his shirt off. He got one of them MMA fighter looks. Like he might have did karate when he was a kid. He kickin’, doin’ splits and stuff. This could really get interesting.”
