(PCM) Despite her promise of everlasting love in the Twilight franchise, Kristen Stewart was caught cheating on longtime boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson according to reports from Us Weekly and People.
The paparazzi snapped pictures of Stewart during a “marathon makeout session” with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. Forty-one-year-old Sanders is married with two children, but the photographer who took the compromising photographs insists that the pair “couldn’t get enough of each other.” Us Weekly has the pictures in its latest issue which will hit newsstands Friday.
Stewart, 22 and Pattinson, 26 have been dating since they first met on the set of the first Twilight movie, although the couple continue to play coy about their relationship. The actress did blurt out that Pattinson was her “f–king boyfriend” in the June issue of Elle.
As of right now, it is unclear whether or not Pattinson is aware of his girlfriend’s alleged indiscretion. The duo showed up together at the Teen Choice Awards donning coordinating blue-and-black outfits when they stepped onstage to accept the “Ultimate Choice” honor. They also appeared happy together at Comic-Con, laughing together about Edward and Bella’s sex scene in Breaking Dawn-Part 2.
A source told People that “Kristen is absolutely devastated” and “that it[the affair] was just a fleeting moment that shouldn’t have happened.” Wonder what K-Stew herself has to say about these shocking photos.
Representatives for both Stewart and Sanders have yet to comment on the rumoured affair, so stay tuned for more details.
