(PCM) It seems that former Real Housewives Of N.J. castmate Kim G’s daughter Gia may have inadvertently made a vacation appearance where she was not welcome.
Gia has unfortunately been caught up in an alleged East Hamptons party scam, Celebritymagnet.com has exclusively learned. According to The New York Post two real estate “con artists” made thousands of dollars renting out posh vacation homes in the Hamptons and then subletting them to teens for post-prom and graduation parties without the owner’s permission.
Lee Hnetinka, 25, who owns the company Hamptons and Sons, is accused of conning East Hampton homeowner Lucy Sachs, 64. Sachs says she rented her mansion to Hnetinka for $30,000. “He said it was his aunt having a party at his house,” she said. But on June 8 she rushed home after a neighbor told her that a “party bus with a disco ball had arrived” at her property in the middle of the night.
Unfortunately Kim G was one of the parents who shelled out $510 to Hampton and Sons for her daughter to attend a weekend party at that very house. She had no idea the company didn’t have permission to host the party they were promoting.
Hamptons and Sons, had even given each guest a 20-page manual of “party rules” banning knives, guns and hard alcohol. Hnetinka and his alleged partner Leslie Jennemann are estimated to have made $60,000 to $80,000 a weekend from the parties. Gia and the group she was with were quickly sent packing when the owner kicked Hampton and Sons out on June 8., after, most of the teens opted for a bit of a downgrade and headed to the Jersey Shore.
Kim G tells us she was promised a refund. She’s still waiting.
