(PCM) American Idol just can’t seem to keep a hold on any of their judges!
After just two seasons with the Idol, Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she will not be returning to judges table. ”I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do, that I put … on hold because I love Idol so much,” Lopez said.
“I could do Idol for the rest of my life,” she said, “but that would be giving up a bunch of other things. We had an amazing run.”
It wasn’t an easy decision for the star and mother of two, claiming that leaving the show was the “hardest business conversation she’s ever had, but in the end she just couldn’t juggle the busy schedule anymore, and something had to give. As the kids are getting a little bigger, it started feeling like it was a lot. Something has to give. And that’s, I think, where I am right now.”
But she’s not the only one not returning next season. Steven Tyler announced that he was leaving the show on Thursday, and according to People, there’s also speculation that veteran Idol judge Randy Jackson may be getting ready to say his goodbyes, too!
Will Ryan Seacrest be the last man standing?
