Along with holding the top spot on both the Billboard and iTunes album charts, Justin Bieber can now officially add high school graduate to his list of accomplishments.
The 18-year-old pop star was one of 192 students in the St. Michael Catholic Secondary School’s graduating class of 2012. Although the “Boyfriend” singer did not attend the ceremony which was held on June 28 in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, his name was listed on the graduation program.
Although he missed the actual commencement ceremony, Bieber did celebrate his graduation on the Ellen Degeneres Show back in May. To make it feel a little bit more like the real thing, Bieber even rocked a black cap and gown.
Bieber earned his diploma after taking the majority of his classes through e-learning after he left for Atlanta to pursue a music career.
“I just finished high school,” the singer told the Daily Telegraph in May. ”I passed my test — I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day.”
Congratulations Bieber! I wonder if he’ll have time to fill out college applications during the Believe tour this fall. Check out the pop singer’s faux graduation with Ellen below.
