(PCM) It’s been a rough week for the Jackson family.
Katherine Jackson has temporarily lost custody of her grandchildren Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket after a third party intervened and would not allow her to continue being guardian of the children.
Katherine Jackson had left Encino, California for a “short vacation”, she told ABC July 25. Jackson had left her grandson, TJ Jackson, 34 and son of Tito Jackson, in charge of the children while she was away. When Katherine Jackson was on vacation, she was unable to be reached by phone.
“I just gave up my phone and I didn’t want to have any phone calls while I was here,” she further explained to ABC, surrounded by her children Janet, Jermaine, and Rebbie.
Rumors were circulating that Katherine’s children were holding her against her will, claims which Katherine denounced as “stupid”, saying her children would never do that to her.
Her children and grandchildren allegedly have tension between them as well. Paris took to Twitter to blast family members attacking her beloved grandmother; a video later surfaced of Janet Jackson reprimanding her niece for doing so.
TJ Jackson was appointed temporary guardian of the children, though Katherine Jackson has allegedly been reunited with her grandchildren.
Paris took to Twitter to celebrate, saying, “Grandma’s here! #thankyouGod”
