Rihanna sues Former accountants, claims they cost her Millions in losses

Grammy-award winning singer Rihanna sued her former accountants Thursday, claiming they were responsible for millions of dollars in losses, poor bookkeeping, and failure to recommend trimming of costs when  a 2009 tour was losing millions.

The singer, using her real name, Robyn Fenty, has sought after undisclosed damages against the the New-York based Berdon LLP and two of it’s accountants. According to the lawsuit, by the end of her 2009 tour, The singer learned that the tour managed significant losses. despite that, the accountants managed to pocket 22 percent of total revenue, while leaving the singer with only 6 percent. Since Firing the firm in September of  2010, Rihanna’s fortunes have reversed, as her “loud” tour, (stretching from June 2011 to September 2011) produced a net profit equal to more than 40 percent of total tour revenues.

Rihanna Hired the company in 2005, as she was starting off as a 16 year old singer from Barbados. she claims that the company repeatedly breached agreements, engaged in misconduct, and paid themselves excessive commissions.
