(PCM) Cuba Gooding Jr., best know for his parts in Jerry Maguire and Snow Dogs currently has a warrant out for his arrest, according to reports from TMZ. The 44-year-old actor is wanted on a misdemeanor battery charge after shoving a bartender at The Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street on Tuesday morning at 3 a.m.
Authorities at the New Orleans Police Department said no arrests were made at the scene. Gooding apparently became enraged after patrons at the bar began taking pictures of him. After that, the actor allegedly shoved a female bartender twice after she asked him to leave the bar.
Gooding is currently in New Orleans shooting the historical drama The Butler, which also stars Liam Neeson and Alex Pettyfer. The Butler is set for release in 2013 and follows the life of a butler who served eight American Presidents in the White House over the course of thirty years.
A publicist has yet to comment on Gooding’s warrant.
