LL Cool J is known for many things… being a platinum-selling musician, an actor with an accomplished film career and a starring role as Special Agent Sam Hanna on NCIS: Los Angeles. Fans may also argue that the figure, born James Todd Smith, could be known for his great body strength; the man is absolutely ripped.
Someone did not know that.
And that person, at this time known only as an early morning home invader, greatly regrets that.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspect entered LL’s Los Angeles area house around 2AM, looking for some riches. Instead, he got the very pissed-off home owner, LL. The robber apparently tripped the alarm system and LL reportedly went down his stairs because he heard commotion. That is where he found the robber. Instead of waiting for the authorities to arrive, the star decided to take matters into his own hands, managing to detain the perpetrator long enough for the authorities to ultimately arrive.
LL came through the altercation unscathed, but the same can not be said for the lowly criminal. He reportedly had quite a few bruises when he was taken away, and booked for robbery.
And that is your “Hollywood Star Who is a Badass” story of the day!
