(PCM) Mayim Bialik is in pretty rough shape after a car accident on Wednesday that left her hospitalized. The accident occurred in Hollywood Wednesday afternoon, when three tourists “turned into her vehicle,” leaving Bialik severely injured.
“I was told, there was a lot of blood at the scene,” LAPD Sgt. Monte Houze told People.
The Big Bang Theory star managed to make it to work the next day, all wrapped up with a full cast on her right hand and gauze on her left forearm. She’s also managing to keep up with her blog!
She blogged on Friday, “I had a horrible accident. I will be okay. I have all my fingers, but a very impaired right hand. It was very bloody and scary, but I am okay.”
Adding that she’s a “deeply religious person who used prayer and deep breathing” for several hours after the accident before being medicated.
“I will be continuing on The Big Bang Theory with no weeks off. They are so good to me, and I love my job and the support I get from my buddies on the cast and our loving staff and crew.”
