Robert Pattinson has finally made his first pubic appearance since finding out longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart was cheating on him. And who better than Jon Stewart and a pint of Ben & Jerry’s to bring Pattinson out of hiding!?
Pattinson appeared on ‘The Daily Show’ on Monday to promote his upcoming film “Cosmopolis,” but the highly publicized breakup was really what was on everyone’s mind. So, Jon Stewart did what any good girlfriend would do to help a friend talk about a bad breakup: Whip out a couple pints of ice cream — Karamel Sutra for Pattinson and Cherry Garcia for himself.
“We’re just a couple of gals talkin’,” Stewart said. “The last time I had a bad breakup, Ben and Jerry got me through the tough times.”
All kidding aside, it was a tough breakup for Pattinson, who admitted that he’s never hired a publicist. “My biggest problem in my life is I’m cheap and I didn’t hire a publicist,” he joked. So aside from trying to cope with the shocking affair, he also had to deal with the media. Poor guy.
