It’s been a rough couple days for legendary singer Randy Travis.
The country superstar was found on the side of the road by a man who then called 911. When authorities arrived, Travis was allegedly naked taking a nap on the street after his car had crashed into some barricades on the road.
According to reports, Travis was visibly intoxicated.
When authorities took him into custody, Travis allegedly threatened to “shoot and kill” the officers.
When he was brought to jail, he was naked, though it is unclear if he started out that way or not. “That’s just the way he was brought into our jail,” said Sgt. Ricky Wheeler.
Travis was officially charged with driving while intoxicated, retaliation, obstruction of justice and misdemeanor.
Travis was released Wednesday morning.
