Chris Brown returned to the Grammy stage after being excluded from performing for two years following his assault on singer Rihanna prior to the 2009 Grammy Awards. Brown performed twice at this years event, and also won the Grammy for Best R&B Album.

Marston Hefner, the 21-yr old son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, was arrested Sunday evening on suspicion of domestic violence against girlfriend Claire Sinclair, 20.

Officers responding to the domestic assault call at the couple’s Pasadena home found the Playmate of the Year‘s minor injuries to be consistent with an assault. Whitney Houston died in a room in the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA hotel room Saturday. Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 pm (6:55 pm ET) despite numerous attempts to resuscitate her. British comic Russell Brand, 36, is reportedly walking away from the approximately $20 million to which he is entitled when his divorce from 27-yr old singer Katy Perry becomes finalized.

Brand and Perry did not have a pre-nuptual  agreement. According to California community property law , they are each entitled to a 50/50 disposition of any income earned during their 14-month marriage. Perry reportedly earned approximately $44 million from May 2010 to May 2011.

Emmy Award-winning actor and director Ben Gazzara died Friday in Manhattan. He had been in hospice care for pancreatic cancer.

Don Cornelius, creator and host of Soul Train, was found dead Wednesday morning in his Los Angeles, CA home of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. A family member discovered Cornelius around 4 am, and he was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 4:56 am.
