George Clooney, his father Nick and several Congressman were arrested Friday outside of the Sudanese embassy in Washington, D.C. Clooney was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.

The actor, his father and the politicos were protesting Sudan’s blockade of supplies and humanitarian aide. Clooney’s publicist said that “they were protesting the violence committed by the government of Sudan on its own innocent men,women and children.”
