Congratulations to Sam Trammell and his girlfriend Miss Yager on the birth of two healthy twin boys! Trammell may be better known as  shape-shifting bar owner Sam Merlotte on HBO’s True Blood.

The couple welcomed their twins on Tuesday, but no names have been released.

These are the first children for the pair, who first met while performing on Broadway 8 years ago.

According to a White House official, the commander in chief will be celebrating the big 5-0 at the White House  with an evening get-together with close friends and family. Obama also spent the morning working, and then returned to the blue room for an afternoon toast with his senior staff.

Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend and celeb DJ Samantha Ronson was arrested August 1st after failing a field sobriety test.

Friends of Ronson say they aren’t surprised by her arrest, and one source stated “in the past couple of months, Ronson has been hitting the nightclubs a lot harder than she used to — and for more than just work — staying out longer hours and boozing more than ever.”

Happy birthday Lindsay! The actress celebrated in style with a low key affair Saturday night.

Lindsay was joined by her sister Ali and brother Michael Jr. for dinner at Geoffrey’s in Malibu, CA.

Lindsay received a vacation to Costa Rica from her father, Michael Lohan so that the actress could ”get away from the spotlight and relax” with her mother Dina and siblings.

The actress could use a getaway, having been released from house arrest on Wednesday for allegedly stealing a necklace worth $2,500.

Lindsay Lohan has claimed that her positive alcohol test results were  not a result of wine, beer, or liqueur,  but Kombucha tea.

The makers of Kombucha stated that the tea contains only  .05% alcohol.

However,  in a probation violation court hearing, judge Stephanie Sautner ruled that Lohan’s previous judge did not require alcohol testing in her probation, only drug testing.

So luckily for Lohan, her alcohol consumption does not violate her probation.
