Judges Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine have been snipping at each other throughout the entire season, a majority of their feud stemming from a member of Adam Levine’s team, Tony Lucca. Lucca, a former castmate of Aguilera’s on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, was at the receiving end of a lot of Aguilera’s blunt critique, despite not even being on her team.

Levine responded to this feud with a few snippy and passive remarks of his own, such as proudly showing off his “Team Christina” shirt every time she threw her two cents into the mix. The fighting, while adding some tension to the show, was certainly not just for the cameras.

The fight went on off cameras too, when recently Christina decided against appearing on the red carpet with her fellow judges. Levine then took that moment to go onto twitter stating, “I thrive on awkward moments”.

Here’s hoping they both work it out soon!

For the season finale of this hit Fox show on Tuesday at 8 PM ET/PT, big-time musical artist Gloria Estefan will appear as a new Glee mama. In the episode entitled, “GOODBYE,” Estefan will be playing Santana’s mother: Maribel Lopez.

We are excited to see where Santana gets her fierce sass from – ahem – she got it from her Mama! This Lima Heights dynamic duo will be unstoppable. Hopefully the episode will be filled with many one-liners.

Another reason to tune in on Tuesday is to see how Mama Lopez will react to Santana’s love interest. (Her cheerleading/Glee partner Brittany.) That’s right, Santana will be bringing Brittany out to dinner at their favorite place to eat… Breadstix… to meet Estefan. Maybe they will gather together and do the CONGA!

To fill the shoes of this role, Selena had to somehow summon her inner bad girl, one that must have been well tucked away by the years she spent at Disney and maintaining a very wholesome image. And what was one of the ways Selena prepared for this role?

By learning how to smoke for the film.

In a recent interview in Interview Magazine, Gomez states that she didn’t know how to smoke before she came on set, and that someone had to teach her how. “It was really funny – they had to show me how to do it,” Gomez told the magazine.

Recently pictures of Gomez drinking and smoking have infiltrated the unforgiving internet realm, but without much notice that these photos were taken on the setof her latest film and are not a reflection of Selena’s personal life.

Selena may be picking “grown up” roles, but seems to be making all the right choices growing up under the limelight.

The unidentified man, who originally claimed that Travolta groped him during a massage session, filed a notice of dismissal with federal court in Los Angeles this morning. “The case has been dismissed, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be refiled,” the plaintiff’s attorney, Okorie Okorocha, told Reuters.

No cause for dismissal was given.

But this does come just one week after the man reportedly admitted to getting the wrong date of the alleged incident, after photos and receipts put Travolta in New York on the day the unidentified man claimed he was in assaulted by the actor in Beverly Hills. Fishyyyy.

There is still the other allegation against John Travolta, however, and Okorocha has no plans to drop the lawsuit (he still represents the second unidentified man, who claims Travolta rubbed his leg, touched him, and tried to initiate a “private” session).

Travolta’s lawyer Martin Singer continues to deny the allegations in both lawsuits, calling them “absurd and ridiculous.”

TIMEMagazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2012 Gala was held at Jazz Lincoln Center last Tuesday April 24, in NYC. This gala was more than trending celebrities or whoever has the most followers on Twitter; the guest list included a range of musicians, politicians, media notables, and people around the world who have made a real impact on society. The venue was beautiful, jazzy, and garnished with its fair share of U.S. Secret Service agents and their K-9 colleagues.

Once Murro got through security, he was able to spend a few minutes chatting with Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. The Clintons were actually Murro’s summer neighbors on Martha’s Vineyard approximately 12 years ago. Mrs. Clinton had some of  her own recollections from the island. She summarized her sand-filled memory lane with, “We had great times there.” When I asked if she had been there recently she said no, “I really miss it; we need to get back there soon.”

Now a man Murro didn’t expect to see at the event, New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan — yes, the Pope’s righthand man, or at least one of his fingers. Murro’s tone gave away the ignorance to religious protocol when I asked for a photo, but he smiled and said, “It would be my honor.” The Cardinal placed Murro in a comfortable headlock as we cheesed it up for a few pictures.

At this point, Murro had no reservation about frolicking amongst the other top 100 people of the world, most he says he’s never heard of. Pete Cashmore, the CEO and Founder of Mashable.com, was one of the honored 100, but still had to rely on his smoking hot girlfriend/professional photographer Lisa Bettany for his mini photo shoot.

Noticeably missing party notables on the TIME 100 list were President Obama, Mitt Romney, Warren Buffett and Pippa Middleton.

Next up was a young woman on the 100 list named Manan Al Sharif, who should have been on Cosmo‘s “Fun And Fearless” list too, for defying a driving ban for woman in Saudi Arabia by cruising around in her car or something. Murro foudn this out when he went home because he Googled her name when he got home. While he floundered around in conversation trying to figure out why she was on the list, she jokingly asked, ”Will you mention that you met a hot Saudi girl in your article?” Murro was glad he didn’t disappoint.

This is about the time Hilary and T.C. Dolan bounced from the scene. The Secret Service soon followed, bringing their fancy metal detectors and furry friends with them.

A conservatively dressed Rihanna then performed a song to wrap up the evening, or so Murro thought. This is when the after party kicked into gear, hosted by Korean Air. Murro briefly hung out with Louis C.K., Emmy and Grammy Award-winning stand-up comedian, talking about his FX series and a couple of FX family members, Russell Brand and Charlie Sheen. C.K. expressed some disappointment in missing Sheen and Brand at the FX Upfront event.

The party was winding down, so Murro decided to call it a night and hopped into the elevator with Mr. C.K and SNL’s version of Hilary Clinton, Amy Poehler. Upon exiting the box, they were met with 20 or so loitering fans stalking the exit elevators. Obviously Murro had nothing to worry about andheI did spotted Victor Cruz making a mad dash for his car.

Murro also had the chance to attend the Paul Simon Gala last Wednesday evening and got into a bit of a scuffle involving the online editor of Cigar Aficianodo. He was also able to capture an exlusive performance featuring Paul Simon playing “The Sound of Silence.”

MET Gala and Afterparty
The Celebrity Magnet also attended the MET Gala last Monday evening and a few after parties.

The afterparty at Crown on 81st and 5th featured a very camera shy A-Rod. When Murro asked him to hop in a picture he said, “No, I’m not taking pictures.” The Yankee was  there with friend and George Clooney’s girlfriend Stacy Kiebler. The Jonas Bros, NY Knicks Tyson Chandler attended the event as well.At another MET afterparty around the corner  at the Ukranian Institute on 80th and 5th Murro saw Rihanna, Gerard Butler, and a slew of other A-listers. Kanye West was also at the party but girlfriend Kim Karsashian was missing. Sources tell us Anna Wintour banned Kim K from Monday night’s Met Costume Institute Gala.Reports say that Kardashian’s name stayed off the guest list direct from the Vogue editor-in-chief, who hosts the evening and approves every star who enters. “Anna hates Kim,” says the source. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”Kardashian had tweeted just hours before the ball, “So excited to see all the fashion going on in New York tonight at the MET!” The post led many to believe that she would be attending. But she did not make it down the red carpet.

“Kim and her camp deny that she wasn’t invited by saying that she had business in LA, but that is a lie. She would have done anything to be there with all the A-listers,” the source added. “The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim couldn’t even buy her way in.”

This will be the first child for her and 32-year-old husband Chris Pratt. Pratt is also an actor and has starred alongside Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars. He is more recently known for his part on Parks and Recreation.

This sizzling comical pair wed in Bali at a small ceremony in 2009. Faris joked this past September to E! Online about wanting eight kids, even though she didn’t think she could handle it. Well, if that is still the plan she is at least 1/8 there.

Congratulations to the mommy and daddy-to-be!

Lynn, 80, announced the news during a Grand Ole Opry show at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday night. Wearing one of her signature long sleeve, floor length dresses, the singer breezed through four songs before bringing Deschanel up on stage with her to belt out a final tune.

Lynn mentioned a similar announcement she made years ago when she announced that Sissy Spacek would be playing her in a movie.

“I have a friend here tonight. I don’t know if ya’ll remember when Sissy Spacek was with me. I brought her out here with me. She about fainted. We both fainted,” Lynn said with a laugh. “She went on to do the `Coal Miner’s Daughter,’ and you know from there. Well, there’s a little girl back stage that’s going to do the play of `Coal Miner’s Daughter’ on Broadway,” Lynn continued. “Zooey, where you at honey?”

Deschanel and Lynn sang “Coal Miner’s Daughter” hand in hand at the concert, a song that No. 1 hit for Lynn in 1970 that she wrote about growing up as one of eight children in rural Kentucky.

“Are you going to help me sing `Coal Miner’s Daughter’?” asked Lynn.

“I’m going to help you sing,” said Deschanel, who has been nominated for a Grammy Award. “This is a great honor for me. This is my hero.”

Plans for the stage adaptation are still in early phases, with a creative team and workshop dates yet to be announced.

Deschanel is not stranger to the music world and has showed off her singing chops in movies like “Elf” and has lent her talents to several film soundtracks. She has also released three albums with M. Ward as the folk-rock duo She & Him, and she performed three songs for the recent animated film “Winnie the Pooh.”

As the music faded out during Thursday night’s performance, Lynn said to the crowd, “Don’t forget her name. Her name is Zooey.”
